The Royal Agricultural Society of Queensland (RASQ) – Toowoomba, was founded in1860 with the sole purpose of promoting the excellence of agriculture in the Darling Downs region.
Located at the Royal Toowoomba Showgrounds in Glenvale on the western end of Glenvale Rd, in Frank Thomas Ave – having relocated there in 1985 from the Old Toowoomba Showground, on Bridge Street, where the Toowoomba Technical And Further Education (TAFE) college is now located.
Like many agricultural shows, the event has a carnival feel with amusement rides, food stalls, skill games and show bags.
The show usually runs for three days in March or April annually.
