The Milne Bay Military Museum is located in Toowoomba, QLD and provides a historical showcase of the 25th Battalion and associated artifacts from both WW1 & WW2.
The Museum is named after the Battle of Milne Bay in Papua New Guinea (PNG) of which the 25th Australian Infantry Battalion unit was a part of.
The museum has several permanent exhibits on show including a replica WW1 trench & WW2 vehicles.
The museum is housed in a building built in 1917 known as 'The Drill Hall'. It's original location was in Newtown Park, Newtown Toowoomba. The present location at the Defence Force Recruiting Centre Toowoomba, located on the corner of Anzac Ave and O'Quinn St in Harristown.
